New polling from the Angus Reid Institute suggests that a plurality of Canadians still support the government’s enactment of the Emergencies Act to clear out protestors during the ‘Freedom Convoy’ protests in February 2022. Fewer than 1-in-5 thought no action was needed and that protestors should have been left alone.
