On May 30, 2024, Donald Trump became the first US president to be convicted of a crime after a jury found him guilty on 34 felony charges in the New York hush-money case.

There was a lot of speculation whether a conviction result would hamper Trump’s chances in the presidential election slated for November. A little under two weeks later, and the polls seem to have moved very little on this issue, so let’s see what the data is telling is so far.
