It's poll-a-palooza on The Numbers this week, as we tackle five federal polls, two B.C. polls and new numbers out of Saskatchewan, New Brunswick and Alberta.
Also, there's a snap by-election call in Ontario that took us by surprise.
In the mailbag, we're comparing caucus sizes, giving a short history lesson on Social Credit and naming our favourite by-elections and/or VEEP characters.
Finally, Philippe has another Quiz for Éric: “Who were the Premiers when…”.

Dan Knight here, subscriber to your excellent 338Canada Substack. I've been closely following your insightful analysis, particularly concerning the BC provincial elections. With the recent suspension of the BC United's campaign and the election now just six weeks away, I'm wondering if there's any chance we could see more frequent polling updates for British Columbia? The last update was on August 14th, and given the rapidly changing political landscape, a weekly update would be invaluable.
Your work has been indispensable for those of us tracking these developments closely, and any additional insights would be greatly appreciated.
Best,
Dan Knight
