Poilievre's Numbers Take Another Hit
New polling from the Angus Reid Institute shows impressions of the Conservative leader eroding, most notably among 2025 Conservative voters.
Newly released polling from the Angus Reid Institute finds Mark Carney remaining well liked among the Canadian public — but the real story may be how Pierre Poilievre’s personal numbers have continued to slide as we inch closer to his scheduled leadership review next January at the CPC National Convention in Calgary.
In its latest federal survey (fielded Nov. 5–7, 2025), the Angus Reid Institute measures Mark Carney at 52 per cent approval against 39 per cent disapproval, for a net rating of +13. His Conservative rival is faring much worse with the Canadian public — especially outside the CPC base — as just 34 per cent hold a favourable impression of Poilievre, compared to 60 per cent who view him unfavourably.
That leaves Poilievre with an overall net rating of –26.
