What’s the opposite of a honeymoon?

This week’s update from the Nanos Research tracker suggests that Pierre Poilievre’s standing with Canadians is on the decline, while Prime Minister Mark Carney continues to benefit from a post-election honeymoon period.

In the latest preferred Prime Minister numbers, Poilievre has dropped sharply since April: Only 28% of respondents now say he is their top choice for the job. That’s down from 34% just one week ago—and a full 13 points below the 41% he posted immediately after the general election.
