Pessimism in healthcare: Less than a third of Canadians rate their system positively
Quebec voters among most critical of their healthcare system, whereas Alberta and B.C. voters rated theirs positively
The newest Léger poll asked Canadian respondents about their perception of healthcare in their province. While the top-line numbers from coast to coast appear lukewarm at best, Léger measured significant regional differences — which could partly explain levels of (provincial) government satisfaction across the country.
To the question: “Overall, how would you rate the healthcare system in your province?”, only 28% of respondents gave the rating Excellent (2%) or Good (26%).
