The second quarter fundraising numbers are in for Canada’s federal political parties, covering donations from April through the end of June—nearly a full month of the 2025 federal election period.

Let’s take a look at how the fundraising landscape is shaping up post-election, and what’s happening on the ground in Alberta.

Federal: Post-Election Dip Across the Board

As expected, most parties raised the bulk of their election funds in the first quarter, which included the March campaign kickoff. Unsurprisingly, Q2 saw a significant drop from those peak numbers.
