For the last ten months, the Liberals have been wading through increasingly dangerous waters.

At the start of 2023, the Liberals were hovering above 30% on average in the polls, with the Conservatives ahead by roughly 3-4%. That was relatively stable for the party, and an election at any given point would have been a coin toss thanks to the Liberals vote efficiency.

Yet, as we hit the halfway point of 2024, the Liberals have seen their fortunes completely tank.

Let’s compare current numbers with those from a year ago to show this stark contrast.
