The always much-awaited federal poll from Léger dropped this morning. Fielded just before the federal budget was tabled in Ottawa, the survey suggests a stable race in party support and indicates that the Liberals have stopped their late-summer bleeding.
Beyond voting intentions, Léger also records a statistically significant bump in government satisfaction and in the approval of Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Nationally, the Liberals stand at 43%, matching their result from last April’s general election. The Conservatives trail by five points at 38%. With only 7% support, the NDP remains stuck in neutral — no sign of recovery yet for the orange team.
