Not much foreign affairs stuff. Of course I can understand not wanting to bring up the Middle East but if the NDP ever became a government they would have little choice but to be heard in some way.
I struggle to understand the NDP's electoral strategy. The dreams of forming a government (or even being the official opposition) from the Layton era appear to be over. Is the NDP content with existing as a national party with a floor in the high teens and a ceiling in the low thirties? It's possible that the Bloc, which runs candidates in a single province, will have almost twice as many seats in the House of Commons as the NDP after the next election.
