South of the border, Joe Biden is facing something of a slow-moving coup by his own party to remove him from the ticket after a series of interviews, and one particularly rough debate last month, threw his candidacy into question.
North of the border, there’s no sign of an impending resignation from Justin Trudeau after a similarly tough hit to the Liberal brand took place in the Toronto-St. Paul’s by-election. Yet, while Trudeau isn’t likely to step down from his position as leader of the party, questions remain as to who could replace him, and if it would even make a difference in the short term.
