At the end of 2024, many observers were ready to write off the Liberal Party's chances of forming government in the upcoming election. With the Conservatives polling more than 25 points ahead of the Liberals in December, questions arose about whether the Liberals would even remain the Official Opposition.

However, recent polling suggests that much can change in just two short months (or even weeks). The Liberals appear to be regaining ground, signalling a potential shift in the political landscape.
