Every indicator points to a surge for the Conservatives and a significant erosion of Liberal support
New polls published on Thursday brought more bad news for the governing Liberals. And here in Québec City, where Conservative members and delegates are holding their national convention this week, many can barely contain their excitement.
After years of deadlock in federal polls between the main parties, where the Liberals and Conservatives were rarely separated by more than a handful of points, we have witnessed a clear surge in recent weeks in favour of Poilievre’s CPC. Several polls in a row, from among the best pollsters in this country, have measured growing Conservatives support in keys regions. Let us look at some of the new numbers.
