We add four new federal polls to the 338 projection this week, so let’s get right into it.

  • The latest numbers from Abacus Data were released on Saturday and show mostly stable voting intentions from coast to coast. the Conservatives continue to lead with 41% of the decided vote against 23% for the Liberals. The NDP takes third place with 19%. From the Abacus report (here): “Since the beginning of the year, we have seen stability in vote intentions with the Conservatives consistently in the low 40s and the Liberals stuck in the low to mid 20s.”

  • The Nanos Research weekly tracker saw a modest tightening last week, as the Conservatives slipped to 39%, while the Liberals climbed back to 25%. Naturally, these numbers remain well within the current confidence intervals, so we see no significant changes yet. You may read the Nanos report here.
