How The Week Has Gone

As we round out the month of November, the Conservatives remain firmly ahead of their Liberal rivals in national polling. In a rise that first started in August, the Tories have managed to maintain their wide berth from the Liberals, seeing their seat count remain over the 200-seat mark while the Liberals remain more than a hundred seats away.

Polling from the Angus Reid Institute this week suggest the Conservatives have expanded their lead from their previous polling in mid-October, while the Liberals remain stagnant around 27%. Read poll details here.

On Saturday, Abacus Data CEO David Coletto tweeted his latest federal numbers: 39% Conservatives, 24% Liberals, 20% NDP. See details here.

Finally, the Nanos Research weekly tracker shows no good news for Justin Trudeau, with the Conservatives comfortably in first place and the Liberals and New Democrats in a statistical tie for second. (To respect the firm’s paywall, we do not disclose the details from the Nanos numbers.) See all the numbers here.

Now, let’s get into this week’s update!
