338 Sunday Update: Conservatives Deep in Majority Territory, NDP on Shaky Ground
While Liberal support remains stagnant, post NDP-LPC-breakup polls spell trouble for the orange team.
The House of Commons begins its fall sitting on Monday in Ottawa, a parliamentary session that will keep many political observers on edge now that the confidence-and-supply agreement between the New Democrats and the governing Liberals has been “ripped up” by NDP leader Jagmeet Singh.

After Singh’s announcement of the NDP-LPC breakup, several polls were fielded to take the pulse of Canadians regarding their impressions of the new federal reality.
In short: 1) Conservative dominance in the polls has not wavered, 2) The Liberals, while still trailing their CPC rivals by a wide margin, have remained mostly stable, and 3) The New Democrats have gotten poor numbers, and are slipping in dangerous territory in the projections.
