The fallout from Donald Trump’s threats to Canada’s sovereignty is still too fresh to determine with certainty, but the last week of federal polling (both at national and provincial levels) has shown significant—even wild—movements in public opinion. Without falling into hyperbole, we may have entered a whole new political discussion with only months to go before Canadians elect a new Parliament.
Adding to the equation an increased attention given to the LPC leadership race, and we have the potential for a seismic shift of tectonic plates in Canadian politics.
That, or it could just be an especially intense sugar high.

Léger: Carney Hurts BQ in Quebec
