A new Quebec poll from Léger was published on Wednesday by Québecor Media, and it measures a levelling off of support for the Parti Québécois, which had maintained the lead in voting intentions in Quebec (often by double-digit margins) since November 2023.

However, the Léger survey shows the PQ's (modest) decline is not uniform across the regions. While the PQ has lost a few points in Greater Montreal and the regions of Quebec (compared with Léger’s June figures), it is still comfortably in the lead in the Quebec City region.

Let’s add this new data to the 338Canada Quebec model and update the projection.
